The George and Dragon is a charming, traditional, family-run, village country pub full of character - the ideal spot for a leisurely drink or a superb meal with family and friends, any time of the week. Located in a traditional British country village, Chacombe, just a few miles from Banbury and a short drive from the famous Silverstone race track, Milton Keynes and Oxford. 

We’re what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, including the latest from Everards. We also have an extensive wine, gin and spirit list and a range of soft drinks. 

At The George and Dragon, we’re committed to providing a fantastic atmosphere, excellent service and a warm welcome. We’re dedicated to being the place where locals and visitors share the same great food sourced from outstanding local suppliers. We aim to deliver this experience by providing brilliant and efficient service, exciting dining and exceptional hospitality in a relaxed manner but with very high standards.
